Prop-Use Disclaimer

1. What you are buying

You are buying a prop — a printed paper item designed to resemble a euro banknote on camera. Every bill we ship carries a visible, non-removable prop marking across its face. The bills:

• are printed on paper, not the cotton-fibre substrate used by the European Central Bank;
• do not contain functional security features (no working hologram, no UV reactivity, no magnetic ink, no embedded thread);
• carry a visible "PROP / NOT LEGAL TENDER" overprint;
• are produced in compliance with our internal interpretation of Council Regulation (EC) No 2182/2004 and equivalent rules in other jurisdictions, when used solely as props.

2. Permitted uses

Our bills are intended for, and may only be used for:

• Film, television, music videos, short films and theatrical productions;
• Photography, fashion shoots, editorial imagery and album artwork;
• Social-media and short-form video content (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube);
• Magic acts, stage performance and street performance;
• Cashier training, anti-fraud training and educational demonstrations where it is made clear to all participants that the bills are props;
• Personal novelty items (gag gifts, party decorations, pranks where no transaction or deception of a third party occurs).

3. Prohibited uses

You agree, as a condition of purchase, that you will never:

• Attempt to use any PRIMEURO prop bill to pay for goods or services, settle a debt, or obtain anything of value;
• Pass, exchange or otherwise tender a prop bill as if it were genuine currency;
• Remove, deface, conceal or otherwise obscure the prop marking;
• Modify a bill so as to make it more closely resemble a real euro banknote (including bleaching, restamping, or applying simulated security features);
• Photograph or film a bill in a way intended to deceive viewers into believing it is real currency outside of clearly fictional contexts;
• Resell or redistribute the bills to any person you reasonably believe intends to use them in a prohibited manner.

These activities constitute counterfeiting and fraud under, among other laws: Council Framework Decision 2000/383/JHA and national penal codes in the EU; 18 U.S.C. §§ 470–474 in the United States; the Forgery and Counterfeiting Act 1981 in the United Kingdom; and equivalent statutes in every other country. They carry severe criminal penalties including imprisonment.

4. No refunds for misuse

Our refund and replacement guarantee covers damaged, lost-in-transit or incorrectly fulfilled orders. It does not cover:

• Bills confiscated, destroyed or seized by any authority because the customer attempted to use them outside the permitted uses listed above;
• Bills modified by the customer in any way;
• Loss arising from any prohibited use.

5. Cooperation with authorities

PRIMEURO sells prop merchandise in good faith and operates within the law. We retain order records (name, address, contact details, order contents) for a minimum of seven years and will cooperate fully with any lawful request from law-enforcement authorities investigating misuse of prop currency. By placing an order you acknowledge and consent to this.

6. Local law is your responsibility

Reproductions of currency are regulated differently in different countries. It is your responsibility to confirm that purchasing, importing and using prop currency is lawful where you live. We do not ship to jurisdictions where importation of euro reproductions is wholly prohibited; if your customs authority seizes a shipment we cannot recover it.

7. Acceptance

By placing an order with PRIMEURO, ticking the prop-use acknowledgement at checkout, or accepting delivery of any PRIMEURO product, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to this Disclaimer in full. If you do not agree, do not order, and do not use the product — return it unopened for a refund.
